African Facts believe that education and training are essential for resolving conflicts and building peace. To this end, we offer a series of training sessions designed for local and international individuals and organisations wishing to enhance their knowledge and skills in various fields.
The strengths of our training
Anchoring: our trainers are mostly from the region, and the others have lived and worked there for many years. They are familiar with the local codes, tensions and expectations on the field. Our content is based on lived experiences, sensitive case studies and datas that are constantly updated by our organisation.
Pluridisciplinarity: our cycles and training modules are designed, enriched, and conducted by a complete team of journalists, researchers, legal experts, and individuals from the concerned fields with a cross-disciplinary perspectives.
Ethics: we promote responsible engagement, cultural understanding, reflection on one’s role and impact, and awareness of local dynamics and issues. We provide solid and essential tools for acting with clarity, respect and responsibility.
Relevance: each of our training programmes have concrete and direct application and is designed to prepare participants for action and help them to better understand, interact and make better decisions in complex environments, both in everyday situations and in sensitive and changing circumstances.
Our areas of training
African Facts is currently developing its initial training and courses offer, including multidisciplinary cycles and modules aimed at audiences in the fields of development, conflict resolution, peacebuilding, security, journalism, media education and open-source information technologies. These will be available at the start of the school year.
